2000 The Only USA Designer With A Hotel

The Vanessa Noel Hotel opens on Nantucket. Lovingly restoring an 1840’s building in the historic downtown district, she creates the island’s first boutique hotel- a showcase for Noel’s exquisite design sensibility and the first word in indulgent luxury. Transplanting her boutique to a ground floor location off the lobby, and adding her delicious, all organic Café V to another wing, The VNH becomes an instant hit among discerning vacationers and a press darling.
2004 New York Flgship

Vanessa Noel moves her New York City flagship store into a graceful townhouse on the Upper East Side. Decorated by Noel, with her characteristic mix of the classic and the unexpected, the boutique is a striking backdrop for her lovely and constantly changing collection of footwear and luxury accessories. The second floor houses her stunning wholesale showroom, where stores and private clients can see firsthand the latest designs and developments of the Vanessa Noel label.
2005 Hotel Green

Vanessa Noel opens her second hotel on Nantucket, The Vanessa Noel Hotel Green, right next door to the VNH. With the environment in mind, Noel uses sustainable materials to create a fabulous, yet socially aware, retreat.
2005 Seven Seas Gallery
The same year, she turns her eye to another of her passions- art. Anchored by the estate of the late, world famous pop artist, Peter Gee, Noel opens her Seven Seas Gallery across the street from her two hotels on Nantucket. Filled with the works of her favorite painters and photographers, as well as an irreverent collection of one of a kind vintage home décor and rare books, The Seven Seas lands immediately atop every discriminating shoppers To Do list.
